Randi Jo discovered yoga in the mid 90s and has been a full time certified yoga teacher since 1999. She’s lived and worked in Park City, Utah for over 14 years. She began teaching pre-natal yoga when she became pregnant in 2004 and that led to post natal yoga, mommy and me and then kids yoga. Randi Jo has been teaching yoga and mindfulness for Adults, kids and families ever since. Most of her time is spent teaching teachers and students in the Park City School District thanks to grants from the Park City Education Foundation, private donors and parents.
Mindfulness (present moment awareness) is a state of active, open attention on the present. When you’re mindful, you carefully observe your thoughts and feelings without judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to your current experience, rather than dwelling on the past or anticipating the future. – Psychology Today
